Your mother that passed away, who returned your Christmas present for credit, who couldn't 'afford' a new toaster, who couldn't pay 'cash' for her medicine, who couldn't 'afford' to fix her place up, left you damn near a million dollars?
How much would that fuck with your mind?
I have some serious re-evaluating of my life to do right now.

I'd say that someone's Mom would get a damn nice headstone.

I'd say, "PARTY AT SCULPEY'S!"
Seriously, that kind of money can change your life...for good or bad. Take your time.
BTW-be sure to cover your taxes on it.

that's usually the way it works with people like that.... it's the ones that always say they can't afford it... my stepdad is the same way. make sure you think long and hard about it before you make any big decisions.

There are people like that.
They will save as much as they can in a saving account just preparing for the future of themselves or the love ones, at the cost of living in an apparent poverty.....
Use the money wisely. Do take some to update your finances and things you need, but put the rest somewhere you can get some additional revenue....

sorry to hear about your mom, sculpey. seems kinda trite to tag on a "but at least" or anything like that, but at least you'll have the opportunity to enjoy your financial change sometime in the future, which is obviously what she wanted, so do make sure to enjoy yourself a little when you're ready.
